Hi, I’m Maddy, founder of Tekalelo Creative. I grew up in Zambia, and from an early age I found myself drawn to visual storytelling.
One of my earliest videography projects was helping Game Rangers International film baby-elephant rescues, translocations and collarings, using storytelling to create impact.
While studying psychology in the UK, I joined The Indispensary, a virtual-assistance company. That role broadened my understanding of business operations, marketing, organisation and systems — four elements that I realised I was passionate about combining with creativity.
That insight led me to create Tekalelo Creative, a name chosen because “Tekalelo” is a loose translation for “support today” in Zambia’s local language, Nyanja. Through this company I bring together everything I love: structure, strategy and storytelling.
Today I provide tailored business and marketing support alongside photography and videography services so that you don’t have to juggle it all alone. My goal is to be your partner. Someone you can trust to keep things organised, elevate your visual presence, and help you fall back in love with your mission.
